Anthony Howe drives SwingRocket from the drum stool, with a feel rooted in New Orleans beats and classic swing. He was house drummer for the Unity Hall Jazz Band in Balmain, Sydney, and the founding musical director of CoolCats Jazz Club in Singapore. He has played Preservation Hall in New Orleans with Leroy Jones, recorded with Harry Allen at Ascona, and taken bands to festivals in Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, France and Guadeloupe.
